Urras Dualchas RatharsaidhThe wider aims of the Trust are to generate interest in Raasay's literature, history, and heritage. The organisation is involved in the preservation of local artifacts and strives to promote educational exhibitions.

The Raasay Heritage Trust manages a museum on the island, currently located at Raasay House near Clachan. Current acquisitions at the museum include record books, reference material and artifacts relating to the life and work of the Raasay inhabitants. Work is just about to commence on a purpose built museum/visitor center to be located at Inverarish.

The organisation has already developed an extensive tree relating to descendants of displaced islanders both from Raasay and the surrounding islands.

The Raasay Heritage Trust organised The MacLeod Parliament visit to Raasay in 1994 and 1998. On 5th August 2002 a new MacLeod chief was "crowned" for more details see the Raasay Heritage Trust website.

The Urras Dualchas Ratharsaidh organises events and workshops including Feis Ratharsaidh. The Feis encourages children to enjoy and participate in traditional music. The attached workshops offer an opportunity for the children to exchange ideas and the event also includes song and dance skills.
